The 13th Annual Point Shirley Foot Race was held in the pouring rain today.
The event which features a 5 mile running race, 2.5 mile walking, and 2.5
mile youth race all competed in Point Shirley (Winthrop), MA. Point Shirley
is an historic section of Winthrop which was known during the American Revolutionary
era for being the site of Paul Revere's copper foundry. Codfish Gear was
a race sponsor for the 2nd year in a row, and again this year printed the
t-shirts for the event. Other major sponsors included Massport and Mosiki
Development. “This race benefits athletics in Winthrop, so we are
very glad to be a part of it.,” said Codfish Gear Co-Founder, Daniel
Vannoni. “I remember how challenging it was when I ran it back in
high school, and it looks like nothing has changed.” In addition,

a very respectable overall finish and winning her group.
